@apguh3489m There may be no official announcement of ending Zero COVID policy at all, as such announcement will cause backlash on public opinion. "Dynamic" Zero COVID is a policy made directly by Xi(亲自部署、亲自指挥), official cancellation will damage his authority.

A possible version is that CCP will directly announce the end of pandemic, rather than the end of Zero COVID policy. NHC might put an end to all three policies in this question respectively, however.

@Doryphore Agreed, but still think 200, 000 deaths is underestimated. Denmark have gained partial protection from omicron in previous Covid waves, but China is just beginning to face the first wave. A slight increase in fatality rate numbers will cause thousands more deaths, given the 14 billion population. However, since there is no official figures, there is no way to estimate the actual number. Will be glad to see future research about Omicron in China.
